Beware! All Efforts Afoot to Ruin Afghanistan Once Again!

10 months back, in one of my articles, titled, “Afghan Crisis a Matter of Concern for America and Russia”, I said that all that efforts that America was exerting through Afghan government to get agree the Taliban to table talk, are nothing more than a waste of time and energy.  A few days ago when Pakistan released 33 Taliban from prison and propagated in media that these efforts are for Afghan crisis to be resolved, however, Afghan government expressed its concern saying that  “the Taliban that Pakistan has released would again join the Taliban forces”; the list of Taliban that they’ve provide to Pakistan have not yet met.
Our Afghan friends today expressing the reality about Pakistan, doesn’t mean that they are less familiar with Pakistani state policies then us. But the fact is that there are some people in Afghanistan who still believe that there comes a time when Pakistan would stop its conspiracies and agree to a progressive idea for Afghanistan. But those who think on this line will know well that a stable Afghanistan is naturally not in interest of Pakistan. This proxy war is in favor of Pakistan interest no matter how much it is exposed, the main reason is its importance.  No matter how much America scolds Pakistan, yet for reasons of her own interests, it does not push Pakistan against the wall. They’re also well aware of the Pakistan army crimes in Balochistan, flouting all international laws against war crimes. But as being blackmailed, America and its allies have turned a blind eye to the crimes against humanity in Balochistan.  In other words, Afghan war is a compulsion for America and a necessity for Pakistan. The Former cannot quit it until it is won. And the latter, despite the defeat and loss of everything, is trying hard to carry on.  The eyes of Americans are quite in perfect condition as they can see the injustices everywhere around the world including Libya, Syria, Yemen, and Egypt and Balochistan too is not out of their sight. But it cannot say anything directly against injustices being meted out against Baloch nation.  Similarly, it is well aware of Pakistani transgressions in Afghanistan, but it seems it is unwilling to go beyond putting a complaint and resorting to a usual cliché “A prosperous Afghanistan is in interest of Pakistan”.
America and its allies would have started thinking perhaps in a different angle about Pakistan’s position and as first step they would directly supported Baloch cause; Had they paid attention to the question that if Afghan war was not in Pakistan’s interest, then Taliban Shora would not have been active in Quetta and its supporters would not have glorified their Jihadi ideology in Assemblies.
Now that a large number of American troops are departing Afghanistan, Pakistan wants to see its designs successful by releasing the Taliban in groups in the name of war against terrorism or staging jail break drama of Taliban escape. We firmly believe Pakistan has kept these Taliban in Jails as guests for security reasons so that they’re saved from American drone attacks. And they will be used when time require them to.
Here we need not to say that Taliban are Pakistan’s bargaining chips, which have been affirmably expressed by ex-army officers, political analyst, and the extremist mullah on TV talks shows on several occasions.  Now that a new war is anticipated after 2014, Pakistan has started its efforts to align them into a new front for the expected war.
In the latest all party conference that was held in Islamabad a few days back, it was agreed that they would hold talk with Taliban without pre condition.  Apparently it was an attractive decision taken in good faith. But it was a two edged dagger forged to be used for stabbing the chests of Balochistan and Afghanistan.  Pakistan would not kill these people (the good Taliban) that it kept them in jail (save heaven) with strenuous efforts, nor does it use them for talk. Neither they’re of any use for Afghanistan. Rather, their role has been clearly defined by its host as a force to wreak havoc in the region.  Conducting talk with them is as fatal as was the list of the Taliban names under its cover Pakistan released the “good Taliban”.  Nothing bothers the “good” Taliban by this decision; nor there occur any accountability of those who unleashed the carnage of general public under state sponsored terrorism. Rather, based on joint resolution of the APC, it has been decided by high-ups that if the said talks failed, the force will be unleashed against common people in tribal area.  It increases the unrest in these areas which are already declared no-go zones. No independent observer can go there. It will be conducive for terrorists to carry out their heinous crimes in the region. It means “our” Taliban and its affiliates will be more powerful and affectively wreak havoc in Balochistan and Afghanistan. These two regions will always remain as center of smoldering ambers. It eventually engulfs entire region and the world as whole.
The above mentioned All Parties Conference is a clean chit for the use of power after the failure of talks. It is vastly believed among Baloch circle that in the event of failure of talks with Baloch pro freedom forces, the government will use its all-out military power against them and uses its sponsored local religious death squads to spread terror in Balochistan.
At this juncture of the war, America and its allies have concentrated all their attention on the safe withdrawal of their forces, and the Afghan government is highly concerned about its future and the welfare of its citizens. Meanwhile, other forces like India and Russia in the region seem to be unwilling to take concrete action beyond expressing good wishes for Afghan people or perhaps they are at loss to understand the situation what they can do to stabilize the region for peace.  By comparison, Pakistan and its destructive forces are at ease and know well what they’ve to do, as destruction is far easier than building
World powers interested in to see peace in Afghanistan, must keep it in mind that Afghan crisis is directly related to Pakistan’s existence. Pakistan, to the extreme, continues to keep the war raging in Afghanistan until it is existed with the current geography.  Expression of good faith and diplomatic niceties do not show their effectiveness, only to waste of precious time.
To be more specific, a prosperous Afghanistan is an existential threat to Pakistan, therefore, the Afghan rulers and international community should not ask it for the thing that blow up the Pashtun Durand Line. Rather, they should be prepared for the events that Pakistan spares no efforts to “surprise” all after 2014.
